When you begin feeding Iowa Antler Gold it's important that you determine your feeding needs, this will be based on the size of your hunting property as well as the approximates size of the deer herd you will be feeding. We suggest checking your feeding area weekly to determine the feeding activity, and then adjust the amount of feed you are providing.

Here at Iowa Antler Gold we believe in order to maximize antler growth and overall heard health, it’s necessary to supplement feed the whitetails on your hunting property. Iowa Antler Gold assures the whitetails on your hunting property are receiving the daily minerals, vitamins and nutrients needed to help them grow the most number of inches of antler genetically possible.

Here’s a tip – Setting up a trail camera on your feeding area will enable you to document the feeding activity as well as observe the buck’s antler growth. You will find your time spent hunting will be more rewarding when you know first hand the bucks on your hunting property, from the photos of them feeding on Iowa Antler Gold.

Feeding Instructions

  1. Locate areas with high whitetail traffic on your hunting property. This is where you want to begin feeding Iowa Antler Gold

  2. For spring and summer months, open up a feeding area by clearing the weeds and grass. During the winter clear the snow from your feeding area. This area should be a minimum of 20 yards long by 20 yards wide.

  3. Place a spin feeder in the cleared area or pour Iowa Antler Gold out on the ground, being sure not to pile the feed, but spread it our evenly over the entire area.

  4. Once the deer begin utilizing this feeding area, we recommend every couple of weeks adjusting the location a bit; keep it in the same area but move 10 to 20 yards from side to side. This will help keep the feeding area clean and help assure herd health.

  5. We recommend you visit the feeding area once a week, replenishing with Iowa Antler Gold. You may need to adjust the amount of Iowa Antler Gold you’re feeding, depending on the number of deer hitting your feeding area. Also, depending on the size of your property and deer herd, you may need more than on feeding location.

  6. Finally, check your state and local laws on supplemental feeding of wildlife and hunting over a food source.
