Jeff began hunting at the very early age of six, tagging along behind his dad and uncles carrying a BB gun, as they hunted Pheasants in central Iowa. At the age of 16, Jeff hunted deer for the first time with his late brother-in-law Larry Parsons, in Madison County Iowa. That cold December morning, Jeff harvested his first whitetail, a nice doe, and from that moment on he was bit by the whitetail bug. Since those early days, Jeff has set his focus on learning all he can about whitetail deer. When not in the woods hunting, scouting, shed hunting, or just observing, Jeff is reading and searching anything new he can learn about Whitetails.

Jeff also, has a love for agriculture, primarily the raising of cattle. Even though he no longer raises cattle, Jeff has taken what he learned during those years and incorporated them into his whitetail hunting. Jeff has been planting food plots and mineral licks on his property in Decatur County Iowa for 10 years. Now he has taken his knowledge of animal nutrition and developed Iowa Antler Gold.

Jeff hunts his 320 acres during the bow season, again during the shotgun season in December, and then takes advantage of the late bonus doe season. Finally, Jeff’s love for Whitetails is not only hunting them, it is also preparing delicious meals of venison. Jeff processes his own deer, cutting steak and roasts, grinding deer for hamburger and smoking his venison for the jerky he makes. When Jeff is not chasing or studying whitetails, you will find him in the spring turkey woods or on a lake or river fishing for his favorite fish, crappies and stripers.

Brian was introduced to the outdoors at a very early age by his father Larry Parsons. Starting off with many fishing adventures catching bluegills, crappie and bass in the local farm ponds and lakes. With the change of seasons came his introduction to hunting. First following along behind his father in the squirrel woods with his BB gun, then after time and training graduating to a .22 rifle. Along with this came shotguns, turkey and pheasant hunting and many outings with his family. Pheasant hunts with his grandfather, father, uncle and brother were building his desire for the outdoors. With these family members during a frigid December deer hunt in Dallas County Iowa Brian harvested his first whitetail deer, a good doe. From that point to this day Brian's respect and love for whitetail deer has never declined. He takes every opportunity he gets to be in the deer woods whether its archery or gun season. Brian and his family enjoy the meat they get from every whitetail he harvests, but Brian's interest is not solely in the harvest of whitetail deer. He is very interested in the population management and health of all the wildlife we have and what needs to be done, small and large scale to keep them healthy and here for our future generations to enjoy. Brian looks forward to soon teaching his own children more about the outdoors as his father did for him. Brian also enjoys target shooting and reloading and when not hunting, fishing or shooting he also likes to play golf.

Adam has followed in the family heritage the love of the outdoors, just as his dad and cousin Brian Parsons. Adam was introduced to the outdoors at an early age; he began following his dad (Jeff Wohlwend) while hunting and going on fishing trips. At an early age of 5 Adam learned to shoot a Red Ryder BB gun eventually graduating up to a more powerful pump up Crossman BB gun and eventually a 22 riffle and shotgun.

As Adam’s love for outdoor sports grew, he harvested his first whitetail buck the age of 9 during Iowa’s first shotgun season. Adam used a 50 cal. Muzzle Loader to harvest this first whitetail a dandy 9 pointer. Adam has enjoyed fishing trips to Canada with his dad and friends for Northern Pike and Lake Trout. Fishing during the summer is right at the top of his list of enjoyments, as college class and basketball occupies his fall and winter during the hunting seasons. It won’t be long and Adam will be right back out there with his family chasing Iowa’s huge whitetails.

Adam is devoted to the care and management of the whitetail heard. His college biology studies provide him with a working insight into the proper care, feeding and whitetail management on their hunting property.
